360 is RB for the zoom and you can have the hmg at the same time. Y button to switch between main tank and hmg, then rb to zoom in and out.

Be sure to zoom out though as it take bloody ages to pan round with it zoomed in

Talking about secondary weapons - what's the point of the coax HMG on the tank - its rate of fire is too slow to take out infantry/helis and it doesn't damage tanks or IFVS?

Why would you ever choose it over the coax LMG?

Would be interested to know what people's favourite map is too - I'm partial to Gulf of Oman Conquest at the moment for the vehicles and sniper ability, but do like a bit of Operation Carnage Metro Rush/Conquest from time to time just for pure meat grinder action. I'm not overly keen on the other B2K maps though.

I think my favourite maps are caspian border, op firestorm and nosehair canals.

Caspian is my favourite map - I like killing folk (or more commonly, getting killed) in the serene surroundings of lush green pastures and woodland

Out of interest, (assuming caspian is the one with the big tower thing) how much effort does it take to bring that tower down?

As far as I know it falls by itself towards the end of a round, I've tried C4'ing it a few times to no avail, some of the more experienced players will probably be able to clear this up....

Yup, falls when the losing team reaches (iirc) 10 tickets remaining. Dont park your tank under its path, not only does it hurt but makes you look a tit

Not been on top of it when it fell but I randomly tried landing a Venom on top yesterday in an empty map - my skills didnt allow me to do it but I think with perseverence it could be done

I've tried a few times and agree that it could be done but you'de have to land on it perfectly level I think. I've managed to fly the Viper along the road next to the objectives on op firestorm at decent speed and only once managed to duck under the road signs, the huey however is a lot easier to get under, I think it must be a bit smaller in height. We should get together on an empty server and have heli races

Really? I've tried loads of times and always catch the tail and do a 360 to a fiery death. And you can forget about jets

Tickets reached the trigger amount and the ledge I was on suddenly wasn't solid anymore.

Although to be fair, it did tumble off the side a couple of times on previous attempts - good practice for 'Bond style dives into the cockpit however.

You can fly both jet and heli under the road signs on firestorm, its tight for the heli but doable if you get the approach right. If you dont then you scatter jet/heli parts across the road and desert.

Oh and i have had that tower on caspian land on my tank before.

I'm still working on getting the F35 inside the carrier bay though.

I did it again! I swear I've been online gaming for years. UT, Wolf:ET, CSS etc etc
But nothing has given me as much satisfaction as taking down another fully loaded chopper with one tank shell from half way across the map.

Awesome feeling.

Who is Dobbin84 or whatever? bd killed me like 4-5 times in a row! and he refused to die when 3 guys (inc me) were sprayin' and a prayin' at him on siene crossing!

Was a good game though, dunno what the people on the RU team were doing though... one guy got in the tank and just parked it outside C and what shelling the st out of the little alleyway leading to it. I bet there wasn't even anyone on the other side!

Kept killing myself with C4 as well... must remember to sprint further away from vehicles, but I get too nervous about them turning round and killing me before I can detonate. Dunno how but I seem to get done with C4 all the time, yet when I try it they see me coming from a mile away!!! Also today I got done by a tank shell on Siene and he was no where near me... he was down on the road by point D i think, I was all the way up the stairs in the alley way leading down and I got killed... no line of sight, nothing and I wasn't even near the stairs. Not sure how that happened, and I got sniped through a brick wall which I guess is the glitchy hit-registering. He shot, I moved well behind a wall, then I died.

What weapons are you guys using the most for each class? With what scopes and attachments? I can't seem to find a gun I'm comfortable with.

edit; apologies to antimus, civpilot and spetsnaz for sodding off mid game, I was getting hacked off with being raped in just about any encounter.

F35 landing has to be done, again with custard though.
