First trip out using a DSLR on using manual settings for motorsport.
Few of my better ones.
Didnt get great consistency throughout the day but happy overall.
Be good to know what people thought.
Cool but the angles on 1, 3 and 7 are far fat too severe - They make me feel seasick!Few of my better ones.

That’s a cracking pic as are all you’ve posted so far. I’m really interested in your PP though, and how you achieved this one. Flash is off, and cant see any HDR so presume multiple image blending and cant see any shadows! Great image either way. Just curious in the technique, as you do it so well.
Thanks Paul, I do occasionally blend 2 exposures for the times when a grad won't work but never HDR. This one has actually had very little pp at all just the usual tweaks for a raw conversion (in this case contrast, brightness, blacks and recovery in lightroom) and then a little bit of cloning in PS to remove a couple of stray branches. Basically I exposed for the foreground to keep the detail in the trees (2/3 stop over exposed) and then didn't include the sky in the shot as it would've been totally blown outRobDickinson said:
