Some lovely stuff on here as usual. Headed down to Portsmouth for the weekend, took this on Sunday eve.

This is not a Sunset...This is a Supermoon Rise by iainsr, on Flickr
Iain - is that really the moon rather than the sun?! Amazing smile
Looks like a sun set to me? Looks too big to be the moon. Happy to be told otherwise though because then it's one of those weird little things nature has to surprise you with.

For the doubters. wink It really is the moon, Sunday saw the largest moon for 18 years. Sunset on Sunday was approx 20:36, exif from the shot :

Taken on May 6, 2012 at 8.59pm BST (edit)

Exif data

Camera Canon EOS 550D
Exposure 22
Aperture f/5.6
Focal Length 50 mm
ISO Speed 400

Linky to some more pictures of the "supermoon" : http://www.space.com/11179-supermoon-photos-full-m...

ETA: Where I was standing I was facing roughly SE to take this, completely in the wrong location to capture a sunset.

I've been out with my 'Street Art' pals again taking some snaps. Two that I was somewhat happy with (although annoyed that i cut the top right hand corner off the one so had to crop the rest to make it look intentional).

It's good fun going out at night and documenting this stuff. Childish maybe, but good fun none the less.

Always welcome any CC (or even none constructive critism).

Cheers,

(excuse the tag, I needed a 'cool' street name to try and blend in cool )

I assume this is the recent Shelsley meeting? Did you get any of the red Lola Porsche as I know the owner and it's the first time his car has run properly since it was built! smile
