Oh oh, he's been travelling again. Again - Contour GPS

This time from somewhere in the middle of the Yorkshire moors to the lovely island of Islay.

Picture every three seconds.

Includes heading to Edinburgh up the east coast road, A detour because of a blocked Motorway in Glasgow, a late night dash to Tarbert up past Loch Lomond and getting stopped for an hour due to roadworks at 11pm whilst they paint the road. Then onto the island and a quick visit to Finlaggan (home of the McDonalds), a dash through Bridgend, Bowmore, Bruichladdich, Port Charlotte down to Portnahaven then back up to our accommodation for the night in Bruichladdich.

A run across the country

Just picked mine up today from action cameras in chiswick.

Went there due to the recommendations on here and a nicer and more helpful bunch of people I have not met in a long time. Highly recommended.

Cannot wait to have a play around with this and will post up the results.

Still a pretty car, even after 15 years.

And that little K-series is a great sounding 4-pot. I miss my old one.

Yes, it was the two yellow buggers making all the noise smile

We had a nice mixture of Rover and Toyota cars, and I think there may have been a Honda conversion there too.

Here's my first 2 efforts:

I now find myself when doing a lot of things wondering whether it'll look good on film! Just bought a suction mount for a trip to Switzerland next month, will post the results if they're any good.

Here´s my effort with a HD Drift bullet cam. The picture quality in youtube is disappointing compared to the raw material.

Have I lost a month somewhere ? It's 07, not 08. Nice motor though.

No you haven´t. The clip is also an ad for a Finnish sportscar meet in the mansion you see in the video(Vanajanlinna). The meet is on the 25th of august.

A couple from me:

Hairpin on the Black Moutain Pass - A4069
Filmed using the 120fps mode (848x480 frown ) so I could slow it down. Not great results and it made the sound go very strange... Oh well! I'd like to know how to gradually slow it down rather than shift suddenly into quarter speed

Washing the Elise
I can't remember the time interval, probably 1 or 5 secs. Just did this for a bit of fun
