Nice shot. Why don't you clone out the V? It's really distracting.

me and cloning don't mix, it always looks obvious. Maybe I'll try tomorrow.

This one only has a large '20' for distraction!

Here's one from my Canon s95. I haven't had it long now but I do love the fact that it's easier to have on you than an slr but you still have the same involvement with taking a shot. My early thoughts are that it seems to have an overactive auto noise reduction even at low iso. Over all though I do love having it with me.

Tell me that isn't unleaded!

We're on Skye in 3 weeks, dreading the fuel costs and that pic doesn't help!

It's derv, but u/l isn't much cheaper - just cost me £110 to fill the R8 with regular u/l. Fill up as far south & east as you can!

Agreed, but likely to have been mandatory if it was actually racing.

Yeah safety first and all that.. It was actually racing too (and a replica, still looked great though)

A cage following the lines of the car would have been nice, though not so nice on the wallet I imagine..

I don't know about that, I've seen plenty of historics (including D-types) racing this year without roll-cages. Example from this year's Le Mans Classic;

Unquestionably safer with a cage, not sure I'd have the balls to race an old roadster....eek

I think this racer would need to conform to MSA regs like the rest of the grid tbh. The grid was a very mixed bag of machinery too including this.. a reliant kitten!!
