Need some doing, preferably this week in central London. All a bit of a rush.

Is there any "eBay" for photographers, as phoning around is getting tedious ?

If you can jump on the train from Liverpool Street to Manningtree (50 mins fast train) I can do it here.

No problem, the lounge makes a good waiting room - I've had the cast of Dad's Army in there before, complete with rifles and a tommy gun!

Can't get our exec team to walk down the road, let alone on a train !

Thanks anyway smile

A business opportunity methinks....it is damn hard to connect urgent clients with photographers with some "slack" in London it seems. Most seem booked up well in advance.

Crazy in the current economic climate that no one is making the time to fit some work in!

We used to bob down to London from Leeds with flashes and cameras and assorted bits and pieces to shoot people at short notice... FTSE 100 types so you made the effort to fit them in short notice, but still.

PS, I didn't go for photo stuff, I went for video work hehe, so I'm not offering biggrin

PS, try adding something up on behance.net or similar sites perhaps? Depends how much time you have I suppose.

This is what amazes me with people.

You have to make hay while to sun shines, but I know loads of self employed people who will decide that "they have done enough work that morning/day/week" and turn down the rest.

It is a totally bizarre concept to me!

I would've done it for a few cups of coffee - plenty of spare time at the mo *LOL* but its a bit far for me to travel

try http://www.peopleperhour.com/

alternatively

sign up to http://www.talkphotography.co.uk/forums/index.php and pop an advert on the photography job board and i'm sure you'll get interest from there.
