Been a while since I've posted in here!

This is one from Motorsport at the Palace 2014, I think! It's on again next month, well worth a visit. I go most years.

Aston forum day out. Really difficult to get the composition right (at least for me!)

I was quite pleased with this one I took of my Noble at Dungeness. Mobile phones amaze me!

Shot for a client last week, 3:45am start chasing sunrise with an Aston Marton Vanquish Volante S. Totally worth the alarm call for morning light...

There's a heck of a lot come together in that one TD.

All pre-planned?

Partly predicted?

Or a large dose of luck - especially with the puddle - well used?

Terrific shot.

Thanks! Location was pre-planned, and I knew exactly where the sun was going to rise - finding that puddle to add an extra element was luck.

Phew.

I was worried that a shovel and 30 gallons of water were about to become a standard part of a photographer's mobile equipment list!

wink

I'd be lying if I suggested I'd never used several gallons to wet a floor before though...biggrin On location just got to use what's there, if there's a puddle it's just another possibility...

Anything goes in a studio or something akin to a studio. It was the idea of having to tow a bowser and undertake some determined physical work in order to make a puddle that was of concern! (Although I suppose one could come up with a way to fake a puddle with a portable prop and therefore require very little water ...? Sorry, this is heading into some rather bizarre territory ....)
