rofl I think George has posted elsewhere and the the 'snap' itself probably was pretty quickly done once the car was in position. The post production work is another story though.... wink

A stunning Ginetta G12.

A very pretty, if diminutive, sports/racing car, shown here at the Silverstone Classic in 2015. This, I think, is the prototype. If so, it's 1967. Ginetta produced some beautiful cars when owned by the Walklet brothers. It looks like a G21 in the background, which was not a kit car. The G15 looked great and raced better.

From a trip to Amberley Museum in Sussex today.

No ICE, but I'm not certain the anti-brigade would welcome it.

It's a 1907 Stanley Steamer, with a top speed estimated, for good reason, to be in the region of 100mph. The owner was kind enough to give me a ride in the car. A steam car of the same make took the world land speed record at 127.6mph, driven by someone with a lot more nerve than I have.

Also there was the world's smallest full-scale steam roller.

It was a good day.

Took this last month in Roupell Street near Waterloo Station. There's always a few old Citroens parked in the road.

Nope.

It's been a totally reliable car - I had it made for me and it's been bulletproof.
