Last nights trip out to the wonderful Wire Soldiers installation at St John the Evangelist Church, Slimbridge. One of the most moving art installations I've ever witnessed.

My first ever photoshoot on Saturday night, quite pleased with the results but not my cup of tea at all...

Got back a couple of weeks ago from a varied trip to Mali and South Africa.. Lots of stuff still to go through and most of it will be held back but a couple that have been released so far..

One of the absolute highlights was working with the SANParks Air Wing in Kruger Park, for those who don't know these helicopters are a vital tool in the fight against poaching in the park, so much so that all four of their aircraft are based in the park now.

Great pics, as always, Lloyd.

Hopefully the SANParks Air Wing are fighting the poachers rather than those trying to stop it.

Lloyd, these are in my opinion your best work yet. I love the angles, really work well for all of them but that Chinook shot is just something else. Living the dream!

Thanks guys! Mali was a real experience, flying around in +45c with body armour and helmet on was a good workout :-) Luckily we got there just after the 'blister beetles' had disappeared biggrin

Before I went I was in Tenerife working with their SAR unit on the island, I had the opportunity to go down into the water to get a different view than normal.. Eye opening experience!
