A fantastic series of images - Hong Kong is a complete gem that so many people pass by because they get no further than the shopping malls.
In terms of photography + easily accessing so much variety I've been nowhere better. I could have easily spent two weeks exploring without going anywhere near the actual city. Loved it, the quietest city break I've ever had and in the busiest place I've ever been!

Really liked the colours in this one; got eaten alive by mosquitoes and had to be mindful of snakes. But a great sunset.

It's Peaceful Bay, near Denmark in Western Australia.

Edit: I know I could clean it up a tad by removing the signs, which I will do when I have time!

Just Googled Peaceful Bay.... a lot of pre-fab housing around there.

I am always curious about places I've never heard of.

It’s the case with a lot of Australia; some very rudimentary structures when you get rural. (Even new builds sometimes opt for corrugated tin for a roof.)
It was a lovely place to stop for a night.

Went to the Eden Project's after-dark light show thing last week - a great opportunity to take some moody shots in the domes.

This is lovely. My hometown is Galway, I should make more effort to go out and take photos when I'm home.

Thank you both smile It certainly is a wonderful part of the world, it was my first visit to Ireland and I can see myself back there sometime late Spring next year.

Alex - you may know the spot if you're a former local, the 'photo was taken midway-ish (I think) between Galway and Clifdon on the N59.
DD - that's a very kind offer, if you have the time then it would genuinely be appreciated. I took a few 'photos looking out over that small lough however it was pretty much impossible to avoid those cables frown

One from my eldest son, Lee.

The guy in the photo is called Joel and he's homeless on the streets of Birmingham. Lee spent 90 minutes with him on Saturday and listened to his story and bought him lunch. Apparently, Joel is a pretty eloquent young guy that's simply down on his luck. Its a ridiculous state of affairs that the new cost of Lee's camera kit could probably have kept Joel under a proper roof for the entire winter

Personally, I wouldn't have the bottle for this type of photography (I wish I did) which is why I'm so proud of my son's efforts. Click the Flickr link to see the rest of his album

Here you go - 10 minute effort so not perfect but an improvement I hope smile

Who is the guy in here that posts images of military aircraft swooping through ravines? Lloyd?

Cracking image on the Daily Mail website today of a Hercules with two persons dangling their legs out the back mid-flight:
