I was on a hill on this side of the loch. No, really, I was.

No, really, really, I was. Look at the map.
The one with the mast on top? I remember on one trip my less sedentary mates decided a brisk walk round the back end of the loch and up to the mast was in order, and I was stupid enough to go along with it. There was also that massive house with the private railway platform being renovated as a hotel, not sure if they've managed to open it yet.

For that last one, what was the altitude and distance out from the operator?

That’s what thought wink Any further and the pic would be compromised. I am useless at drone pics, I often end up in the pic!

I'm new to photography as it's a new semi-retirement hobby. Still lots to learn.

The first is a shot of Skiddaw that I took using a Mavic Pro 2 in RAW and enhanced using the Affinity Photo App on an ipad. The second is a distant shot of Helvellyn and Keswick.

Nice pictures, been to the top of both Skiddaw and Helvellyn and nice to see them from a different perspective
