I took my Mavic Mini out for a play today, ony the third time since I got it back in January, due to lockdown and being too busy at work!
Any recommendations of websites to look at for some tips and ideas?
I've looked on a couple of the Mavic Mini Facebook pages before I deleted my Facebook account and they seemed to be full of rather 'different' people so any more useful advice would be great!

YouTube is a great resource, for tips and inspiration. Any recommendations of websites to look at for some tips and ideas?

I prefer minimal time in the air, just be aware of your surroundings.
Dougie.
Finally pulled the trigger on a drone, ordered the Mini 2 on Monday, delivered Tuesday (fantastic service from The Heliguy) and had my first proper play with it this morning. Pretty impressed so far I must say.

Sorry to interrupt the flow of stunning images - but does a Mavic Pro 1 still cut it from a photography & 'drone' point of view?
Or would a newer one offer something much better?
Everything is slightly better in the 2 - speed, distance, fly time, bit rate etc, but the main difference is the bigger sensor, which does improve picture quality. Having said that, the 1 should still cut the mustard :0)Or would a newer one offer something much better?
This is with the 2 (16th file size)
