Some really great shots posted so far!
Just the one from me, the F-22 demo really was something special.

I'll see your Skyraider "after" shot, and raise you......I was cycling down the road parallel with the A505 on t'other side of the airfield after the crash, and we (a number of other cyclists, but not 'together') were directed down a farmer's track by a police officer on the crash cordon. We had to backtrack to let the attending fire crews know there was more wreckage to find. There was the canopy, plus bits of Skyraider and Mustang laying there in a line all through the field.
I hadn't actually seen the contact, or the crash, as it was on the other side of some trees, I was just trying to get across to the Fowlmere side after the display finished to complete my ride.
Please excuse the photo - all I had at the time was a ropey old Nokia C1 (which I'm still using ).

Stunning shot, as usual, Lloyd. I saw from the Flickr page you were using the 200-400. I've reached my financial limit with the 100-400 + 1.4x but wondered if you thought the 2-4 was worth the expenditure over a large prime? I guess portability has something to do with it as a 600 F4 isn't going to be hand held for long. Just the one from me, the F-22 demo really was something special.

It's a tough one, the quality is good but it isn't as sharp as a prime lens. I guess it comes down to whether you want the flexibility of a zoom or the sharpness and optical quality of a prime, personally I'd opt for the latter. It's not the lightest lens in the world either, it's still pretty weighty. Yellabelly said:
Excellent image Lloyd with plenty of spluff!

Grey skies again at RIAT yesterday though I finally managed to get a sharp one of the Apache with rotor blur.
