This was my first edited Mavic footage. I need to learn about shooting in manual as auto doesn't handle the changing light very well.

Some great vids lads.

Unfortunately I'm still grounded frown.

I've posted this before from last June. Phantom 2 with the trusty Gopro.

Great video thumbup I prefer to fly the Inspire as i find everything about it easier to use, that said. The Mavic really does fill the gap when it comes to portability. Both have their good and bad points but if i had to have one or the other it'd be the Inspire.
Thanks. The Inspire is just awesome in high winds. It is so stable. The battery life isn't great though

Very true, I'm going to have to replace mine soon and am undecided at the moment which way to go. The Inspire 2 is looking like it'll be around 10 grand to get everthing needed to use the bloody thing. smile It's not a cheap game is it. biggrin

The I2 certainly isn't cheap to get up and running (even though I don't have the raw licenses), batteries at £360 a pair are quite painful and I'm only getting 20 minutes out of them (x5s). But the video transmission is rock solid and makes dual operator a pleasure. 60FPS in 4K video is also excellent!

I thought it might be an idea to have a separate thread for UAV videos, rather than stills. So here is one.

I've done a bunch over the past two years using the DJI Phantom 3. Here's the latest:

Feel free to add.
Errr.... go on then.

Lovely video. Who is playing on the soundtrack?

I was trying to work out if it was samples or not.

Ah, okay... the shakuhachi is all sampled phrases - just organised into an order. I'm just pratting about in the background to add some harmony and make some sense of it.

Any videos to share? smile

I think I'll wait and get either a Mavic (when the next one comes out), or the Phantom 5

I was up on a hill in Fife last week, in 15mph+ winds and got some cracking video, just need to edit it now.

Not quite as windy as these guys though: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3uF59mOsgOU
