July 2017 Photo Competition - 'Numbers'
Discussion
The subject for July is "Numbers".
Interpret in any way you like, but don't get caught out in the photo size as in the rules below.
Good luck everyone.
Rules
The photos taken must be your own work
The competition will run from the first to the last day of the month.
The winner from the previous month decides on the topic for following month and judges it at the end of the month
Entries and discussion on this single thread please.
All entrants acknowledge that they may indeed win and that their adherence to convention ensures everyone else's continued fun.
Photos entered should be no bigger than 750 pixels wide for a landscape photo and 600 pixels high for a portrait photo due to the PH squash factor. Links to larger versions are permissible.
Can the mods please make this a sticky? - many thanks

Good idea David
Had a dig through my pics and this is the best I could come up with.

This has got off to a slow start, come on PHers there are Numbers everywhere, on and in just about every mode of transport, on signs, clocks, buildings and even in books, and as Mike has shown in the Landscape, so given that most pictures published in this forum are either landscapes or transport, you really shouldn't be short of ideas (or subjects)!!
Thanks Mike
You lot make it hard, so many great shots.
This is the first time I've had the nerve to post in here and I'm not happy with the uploads.
I might just delete both as I've been working on another one, which might be better.
Plus I'm having problems with the PH/web sizing. I have worked out how to post to Flickr and have put better images on here before but can't remember how I did it.
Either that or I'll maybe wait till next month.

And this month's winner is 'Top Banana' - great shot, very suitable for PH and something different

Its a shame about the low number of entries here, only a little thinking outside the box was required!! Anyway over to Top Banana to set the next theme.....Gassing Station | Photography & Video | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
