Well worth a visit if you've not been.
Saw plenty of UK critters that Ive never seen wild before, let alone captive.
Would really appreciate some feedback on these please.....

Great photos! thumbup

I've been there myself with the camera, great opportunity for wildlife pictures that you wouldn't normally get the chance to - as you say, it's very rare to see them. I've been there twice infact, and sometimes the Foxes can be allusive (except at feeding time!)

The fox one looking straight at you is great - link to my album of that place smile - https://flic.kr/s/aHskayGNEc

One of those places we've been wanting to go to but never actually made much effort!
Their photography days are meant to be very good.

Fox wins it for me.

Chhers guys.
I would recommend the tog days, as I think the photo ops offered are rare enough to be worth a hundred quid.

For me personally, I also got the chance to see in person quite a few native critters Ive not seen live before......

White balance is off in 2 and 3 but otherwise excellent - good framing, good expressions, mastery of DOF. Do you shoot RAW?

Nice work.

I've been and was impressed but wasn't happy with the shots I got so now, looking at your shots, it looks like I'll have to go back.

Well, the polecat looks too magenta and the white feathers on the owl look blue. Open the RAW file again, click the eyedropper (or whatever your software uses) on the feathers and see what happens.

I think your images on here, and those on Flickr, are really good. I've been meaning to go for some time and now I regret not doing so.

I'm not subtle enough to criticise. I loved 'em all. I saw a polecat/weasel taken by a barn owl one night near Gatwick. I was parked with my headlights on dip and the thing ran across the road in front of me just on the edge of the beam. It looked lovely. I sat back thinking how lucky I was to see it so clearly, then the owl cruised over my car, a Disco, with its massive wings seemingly almost as wide as the car, and took it without any noise.

Thanks for posting them.

Nice pics. I was there a couple of months back on one of Bob Brind-Surch's photo courses. Great place. The otters never stopped feeding during the shoot.
