Anyone else caught in the Youtube demonetisation trap?
I get a pretty constant view and watch hour numbers (over 9.5k watch hours in the last 12 months. However my subs are way short.
Consequently the little I did make from ad revenue (most £35 one month, least £5 a month) will disappear until I get to 1000 subs which based on current predictions won't be for another few months at least.
I get where they're coming from and lord knows I'm not in it for the money (its purely a hobby) but that little bit of cash was like a tiny pat on the back. I was earning something from doing something I completely enjoy. Hey ho, onwards and upwards. I'd better get making better and better content!
