You should enter as these are very much up with the standard of the thread, most of us are just amateurs (with the odd exception!) and not real photographers as such.
Both qualify as examples of bokeh - the second in particular IMHO
Thank you. Both qualify as examples of bokeh - the second in particular IMHO
So which photo are you going to enter?

Without really knowing it, I find that I've taken very few shots with any kind of bokeh - makes me want to get out there and experiment
an OK one from my Flickr albums....

It was upside down the first attempt so I went and rotated it 180° and tried again. Still upside down.
I've had the same thing. I identified that PH is fine with portrait orientation (this is on Android), but has no clue when it comes to landscape. You can spin that fker all day long, and if you eventually get it right, it's just luck. Thanks for an interesting subject, and some great entries so far.
I really enjoy this competition as it gives a good reason to go out and try to take some qualifying photos each month.
Here's one from a trip to the zoo just over a week ago - I found myself constantly thinking about trying to get photos with decent bokeh, so it added a lot of interest to the day. There are a few others in the album here, but I liked this one for the contrasting colour of the lizard as it clung to the grey rock face with the green foliage in the foreground.
