Hi guys I’m gonna buy a Fuji xt2 and was wondering if anyone uses one? As my main useage will be street and I want a lens for doing some car shoots only amateur style. I like the more urban style car park based car photos tbh so what lens would you recommend ?

Thx all

Fuji lenses are all pretty good so I would pick the one that best suits your pocket/required focal length eg - 55-200, 18-135 (decent lenses and 'cheap'-ish) or maybe 50-140, 100-400 (great lenses but big, heavy and expensive) smile

As above, Fuji lenses are generally good.

The 18-55 is a good bet for car photos, or if you prefer a prime, the any of the Fujicron f2 primes would work. I have the 23mm f2 and it is my most used lens.

Depends on your budget. If it’s very tight, the kit 18-55mm zoom is great and goes fairly wide, good enough for car shoots plus will give you other options. It’s what is on my camera 75% of the time. Do budget for a tripod as well.

If you want wider, the 10-24 is hard to beat.

Get a prime (fixed length) it will make you a better photographer, in the way that you have to think about how to frame/compose your picture, plus they tend to be cheaper and better image quality.

Since moving to primes, and literally limiting what i use for work and personal, it has improved my photography a hell of alot.

Sorry OP, you asked a question about one lens and got seven recommendations. That's what happens when you ask geeks a question...

Maybe tell us a bit more about your budget and camera experience? That'll help us refine your options.
