hello forum i havent been in!
we have a field next door with lots on big holes that look like badger etc nests and would like to get my 10 yr old daughter a trap camera to see whats there.
any advice - looking at very cheap will they be any good? basically just want to see any wildlife around.

thanks - any real difference between them all at that price range? just want to see whats about at this stage rather than pics for a competition. looking at this one unless anyone can recommend any others:https://www.amazon.co.uk/Wildlife-Activated-Waterp...

I bought a cheapy a while ago - works but not brilliant! The one you've linked is pretty much the same as https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/123738153080 at less money. No 'trail-cam' will give you great images, but these are perfectly acceptable if you want to know what is around you.
I use mine purely to 'stake out' potential wildlife sites, prior to setting up hides with my 'proper' gear.

I bought a similar one by Victure for my garden, it does take good nighttime videos though the range is limited so you may have to move it about a bit if it is a large area, easily tied to a tree/plant pot etc with the strap provided and completely weatherproof. Apart from the postman, and a wandering pheasant, this is it's best effort so far - This guy comes from at least a mile away:
Tonight it's going in the garage to try and see what creature is grabbing all the mouse poison I put down.
