Just got a new stills camera, good to be taking some photos again. Outdoor photography opportunities a bit limited where I am now, but managed this in the garden.
I'd have had another go at it after checking it on the big screen (focus is a tiny bit soft on the bark at the front, I needed a smaller aperture really (this is 2.8)) but the sun had gone round too far by then.

It’s been ages since I’ve picked up my camera, adopting a now 2 year old will do that to your spare time!
Anyway, living in NE Scotland meant we got some unusually strong aurora the other day.
It was nice to be able to get the house in too.

I've only just realised how long it is since I shared anything in here, very remiss of me.
Autumn saw a trip up to Scotland, the weather was largely miserable but the scenery was spectacular.

Back home we had a very misty autumn, perfect conditions for shooting in the forest.
