we gave our 5 yr old daughter a cheapish digital point and shoot camera for her birthday because she took an interest in the piccies I was taking. She goes through phases of not wanting to take any pictures to taking 10 of the same thing.

Do you feel guilty going through the files and deleting 90% of them ? I only delete about 80% of the ones I take

Nah, I give her the DSLR every now and then when we are strolling wherever. I just point some stuff out and she takes the cam to take some pics. Poster on her wall, T-shirt . . . that sort of thing. Proud and all . . .

I also gave a photography 'masterclass' at her school. All those kids taking pics is awesome and very rewarding . . . walk home, make a cd . . . put on website. Can't find it now BTW
