I currently use a joypad with pc games (TOCA) and am considering upgrading to a wheel. Any recommendations as to what is worth buying for a medium to good spec and where best to buy from.

Any advice would be appreciated.

I've got the logitec Driving Force Pro (as have a number of other people on this forum), which is for the PlayStation2 but being USB works for the PC also. I'm very happy with it and it's also got 900 degrees of rotation, although you won't need all of that it can offer more precision than the stardard wheels.

I bought the 'Logitech Formula Force EX Wheel and Pedals' for the PC a couple of weeks ago to play GT Legends. Can highly recommend it, very good, and at £40, not a bad price either

You can get it from Gameplay

I too use a Driving Force Pro, but its got a few mods on it a Wheel adaptor kit with a wheel box kit from Frex, and a Racetech 280mm wheel. Used with a set of BRD Speed7 pedals and you have a great combo, if a tad expensive

I'm another one who uses the Driving Force Pro, excellent choice, especially as iv got a special seat and wheel support it gives you the perfect driving position. Didnt realise the wheel worked on PC too? And where did you find the mods Panclan?

The wheel adaptor and button box (They are not cheap, but will outlast the standard wheel) both came from Frex GP in Japan www.frex.com/gp/ The wheel I got from Racetech in Wallingford.

It takes around 1-2 hours to fit the kits, once you figure out what needs to be done, my instructions were in Japanese, with pictures. What it gives you is a mount for a proper wheel, aluminuim padel shift levers, and all the DFP buttons at your finger tips.

Sounds very complicated, might just keep it standard
