Is that supposed to be blue...

...or green?

Actually I like the effect but not perhaps on the car from a flattish, side-on view. Might work more effectively on a more aggressive angle?

I had already decided upon two, before reading any of the other comments. Overly photoshopped images are like a bucket of cold water to the face, and make my nutsack shrivel.

Another question...do you (all) think an image like this would sell?

I would have thought your car would have looked luurverly if you meesed about with 'chrome'. Especially if you have 'nout in the background to confuse the lines (unlike mine below - which was originally taken by Matt - sorry mate!)

rolleyes Doh - he missed half of it....

(Actually that's really impressive)

I think if you want soemthing to sell you will have to come up with the right "look" or something a bit unique. Unique is difficult to do now that everyday numpties can photoshop...

Here's one I prepared earlier

How about just havng the car in that effect and leaving the background normal. That would look superb.

Not very well. Are you referring to stock, or...? The stock sites say that the most usable images sell best, and ask that photographers dont run filters over their work to create effects, leave that to the designers.

I cant recall the last time I ever saw an image with similar photoshop effects being used in a regular magazine/print.

You did ask for honesty, and my opinion is just that, only my opinion
