One of my g/f's mates, no brief other than a quick shot for her (she's a writer/blogger/creative) to use on promo material

Apologies Andy, I felt that the comment about your model was tactless as was mine in response to rottie's model

Toby head and shoulder by leedogg2, on Flickr
My son Toby, taken on a bored Sunday afternoon. Natural light.
C&c most welcome
Curtisl, love that!
Don't think I've posted any studio shots in here yet, so here's one of my colleague Ian. Lit with a single softbox to his right.

ETA: MikeGti, has anyone ever told you that you have a passing resemblance to John Travolta?

Cheers Jimmy. It's probably the portrait I'm most happy with. Mrs C is not a fan of the camera so it's hard to get shots of her other than a sneaky candid (not that kind!).
I like your shot, nice and sharp, well lit. I am terrible around a flash so I am no guru but I would be happy with the shot if I took it

Had a play with a video light yesterday. Think I want one now...

I like both, I just think that you have gone a bit far on the eyes on number one. They don't look real now
Thanks for feedback, bit stuck on the eyes as not very good with pp, so used pre set on lightroom 4. Need to get to grips with software as very weak in that area. Any recommendations welcome. Gassing Station | Photography & Video | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
