Some years back a friend wanted to get rid of a deceased relative's camera kit and asked me if I wanted anything.

The bad news: it's a Hanimex. The good news: it's a 7mm fisheye! You really have to keep your feet out of the pic...

I'd put it up on ebay and see what you get. I've just sold one of my old lenses on there, and got a lot more than I was expecting.

I did manage to sell a Nikon F60 kit on E-Bay for £195. It went to a bloke in Wisconsin, and the good bit was that I only paid £80 for it from an advert on my local supermarket noticeboard!

However, I'm not planning to sell the fisheye, I was just curious. It's not a full screen fisheye though - it takes circular pix!

That's a weird bit of kit ! At 7mm focal length I'm not surprised it only produces circular images on the negative. I like the way it stops down to F45 as well. A truly "focus free" lens !

It's such an ancient oddity you'd have to take it to a specialist dealer for a price, and even then it would probably be only a best guess. I bought a second-hand 15mm fisheye for my Canon EOS about 10 years ago and it was £275 against about £700 new if that's any help.
