Great pics VR.

We have a goldfinch at the moment that likes to sit on the TV aerial and chirp every morning.

Does anyone know what this bird is?
Looks like a female or young chaffinch to me but with a lockdown hair-do confused

Lockdown photos - taken from the end of my garden
I have been visiting a local swan as part of my daily lockdown walk - all 7 of her eggs hatched last week, and also saw mum giving the cygnets a piggy back. Never seen that before and thought it was charming.

I was also lucky enough to see two eggs hatch...

Mum inspecting the new arrival...

This one a day old...

A morning spent trying to capture this one at the bottom of the garden...

...on an old Nikon D300 and 70-300 f5.6 - should have used a tripod though as the image is soft due to breathing!!

No, really it was less than perfect before thumbsnap took it’s share of the detail!

Apologies for the quality, very tight crop and high ISO.

Sometimes they come to you - This young Woodpecker rather conveniently bounced off my french windows then sat here stunned and pissed off for about ten minutes before flying off.
