Vents, indicator stalks, roof catches, etc, would be interested subject to pricing. Thanks for looking into this.
Me too. Already have well polished knob and handbrake lever however. getmecoat
Sorry Knowler you'll need to remove me from your list for a gearknob too as I already have one. I've got slider switches too so knobs are not for me either.

However if you find you can get some of the other things made then I'm in.

The V8S has slidey heater controls as well, so just the gear knob, stalks, vents...

Cheers.

I think once we have finalised order for gear knobs split it up into orders for S1/S2 and S3 + V8. Some parts will be common some not.

Ok Chaps,

The general consensus is to go for just gear knobs for now.... so we will... all other request duly noted and passed onto the manufacturer to look into, so he may well come back on these but for now considered them parked...

The major issue we have now is we need more volume, after posting the draft list we went back down to 14... the bottom line is we need to reach 20 minimum just to reach his higher price estimate... under 20 and its just not going to be feasible unless your all prepared a slightly higher price...

Here's the current list.. if your missing or know someone who is then now's the time to shout or we may well have to park this again, which would be a pity.... as i am sure he will come good on all the parts we need...

Ps Just received the standard pear shaped ally knob from him, fits and feels beautifully... ;-)

Right, I'm officially confused now.

I was out for the fog lights and blower knobs due to having an S3 with slider controls but still in for the gear stick knob.

Before I confirm I'm back in for the gear stick knob though, is it the flat top, gate etched style (similar to the ebay link in post 2)? If so, I'm definitely in, if it's the domed style (ebay link in original post), I'm out - sorry.

wrt the other items - I am in for the lights/wiper/indicator stalks, dial bezels and air vents unless extortionate prices.

Cheers,

Max

Hi Max,

Gear knob back in then.. definitely aiming at the flat topped Chim/Griff style with gate etched/engraved on top...

As for other items i have sent him the list and he'll review and get back to me with what he needs to progress...

Hope thats clearer??

Morning all.

I may be able to help you. I make various parts out of aluminium for our TVR's and am currently working on some gear knobs for the T350 / Sags etc.

If one of you could confirm the thread you would need and the gear pattern for the top I could look at this for you.

They would be the same aluminium ball as the T cars and the gate pattern would be applied using a laser engraver to give a crisp clear finish (not groove and paint).

Cheers. Lee.

Ps The thread i have on my S is a standard ford M10 1.5mm, i believe this is consistent across the range unless a mod has been made... as for the gate pattern and flat top of the Chim and Griff style ball this is a must.. ;-)

I seem to have disappeared from the knob list! Still interested though (reverse up to the left on the V8S). Cheers.

Don't forget the standard V8 gearstick has an imperial thread. Something like 7/16 UNF IIRC, but check.

Isn't the knob for V8S readily available from TVR specialists (same g'box as early Chimaera)? e.g. clicky

Same gate pattern as type 9 (V6 cars) but quite possibly different thread (does say they don't fit S Series).
