2013 Spa Classic
Discussion
Hi All,
Great trip to the continent. Good to meet a lot of you, and will make more of an effort to be punctual next year. I think we were late to every place. Enjoyed the track at Spa, and also really loved driving around the Ardennes.
Still can't believe I lost a bet in the pub and ended up with a 65 year old Italian dwarf called Luigi at my co-driver. The lack of English (other than "Luigi, like plumber) and the fact that I had Dean Martin on for the duration of the laps made the event just a little surreal.
I also think my gearbox is now dead. Got back late last night. Great fun.

Who was this cover with ?
It was a "bolt on" with my classic policy - which was either classic line or heritage. I've moved this year to RH and have the cover built in too.I was going to extend my AA cover initially to Europe but that was £65 for just the 5 day trip, the bolt on was £35 for the year - it was a no brainer to me. BUT of course the quality/value is only tested when you use it. I'm just surprised that a "blue chip" firm like RAC is proving difficult in this instance.

Couple of us went to the Nurburgring on Saturday morning. Would definitely have thought twice about doing laps there if conditions were like Sunday!!

When I was trying to help you park up, I wondered why your passenger didn't speak any English Great trip to the continent. Believe me, whatever shock and disbelief you were feeling. Times it by 10. Lost a bet in the pub. I had to drive around Spa with the Dean Martin on full blast. Very, very surreal.Good stuff Mark Loved the "whoops" moment at 6 minutes!!
Great to see a little old V6 S disappearing into the distance leaving your Cerbera & Tim's Griffith (the green one in front of you) behind. Yeah yeah yeah, I know it would have been a different story if it had been dry and you could've got the power down
