So with the 9 S's that met up at the Skoda garage, plus the 24V Cosworth powered S1, I make that 10 S's out on a cold misty Sunday morning. Plus a rogue Griff of course.

Good to see you all, think that we were the largest single model group there today, might have been pushed by the Morgans though?

Hmm and they do this breakfast once a month... Looks like a regular event then, perhaps we should do it again when the weather gets warmer again. So that's next September.

Oh I dunno - after the "It starts at 9" comments I got there expectantly at 08:50 and had finished my breakfast by the time you lot showed up.. Had a lie in did you?

It really was lovely to see so many S Types in one place, also gave me a chance to compare and contrast. Luckily mine was the best looking there so that's OK LOL.

We did put the roof down for the trip back, but it was definitely frozen solid when we set out this morning.

Lovely breakfast too, so we'll definitely be back next year when they start it up again..

It was a great morning. No excuse for keeping the lids in place for the drive there - it was too cold! Nice run back with the top down. I counted 12 'S' Series - 9 'Skoda' cars plus 3. Certainly will go again next year.

Cheers Bountyhunter, after my OH tried sitting in your new MX 5 seats, she has agreed to me letting her come next time if I get the seats like yours, means I will have to fit a stereo of some kind to run the headrest speakers. One job leads to three more. The lovely chap at Shelsley will send a reminder a few days before the next meet, so long as you registered this time. It would have been a bit quiet without all of us, frost and fog put some of the regulars off maybe.
Will try and tidy mine up to the excellent standard of the rest of you guys over the winter.
Already on ebay zearching for hoods, seats, etc, got boot gas strut on order along with several metres of rubber weathwr strip.
I am inspired, Thanks Chaps.

There was one S that arrived with the roof off! although I do wish I'd remembered to bring a hat!

A good turnout of S's, a full english and a walk up a steep hill, what better way to spend a cold Sunday morning? I'd do it again.

Hope everyone had a good trip home (and a few more roofs down please.)

Paul.

Bugger, looks like you guys had a good time, we were really dissapointed that we couldn't make it today, but due to mothers fall yesterday and broken hip, we had to stay local.
Hopefuly catch up with some of you soon.

Great morning out!

Good turnout, great breakfast, good company, beautiful scenary for a very atmospheric walk up the hill. I may even have set FTD powered by the breakfast!

Great to see so many S's. Shame all but one of the roofs seemed to be broken? biggrin
Hope you managed to get the fixed for the trip home.

+1.
I had a marvellous time, even though my roof was frozen solid at 6:15am.
Luckily it had thawed enough to take the lids off for the journey homesmile
Always have a selection of daft hats in the car, including a bright Orange balaclava for when I'm in stealth mode. jester

Sounds like everyone enjoyed Shelsley Walsh. I will keep a watch on forthcoming events and post on here.
Glad breakfasts went down well, with the mists and sunshine through the trees on the hill, I managed a lot of atmospheric photos for my album.

Unfortunately we didn't get any choice about where we were told to park so we weren't in TVR Row frown

We did park in some pretty nice company though:
