2.9 ECU - Need one

Has anybody got a spare ECU for the Cologne 2.9 they want to sell. Mine is the earlier version of the 2. Or does anybody know where I can source one reasonably priced ? Available from the scrappies ? This is what the problems with the idle and mixture etc etc is being caused by. Tower View have confirmed this to me today, after exchanging my unit with his test unit and then getting a proper set up.

As I said on the main list give Richard or Neil a call at Peninsula as they have a new one (or did a month or so ago).I was quoted £400 for a new one when I was looking for a spare one! get it whilst you can Cheers LeeBee

Lee, I have been quoted £350/£400 aswell. I'm in between lottery wins at the moment and it looks like I may have found a scrappy with a cardboard box full of old Granada ECU's. I'm off down there this morning to see if the numbers match and then see if they are servicable.

Be bloody careful, I heard of a standard ECU that was running on a car for ages with no apparent problems but turned into a real nightmare when reset (car had a body off chassis repair).It wouldn't run properly was very rich (black smoke!) the problem was that the ECU was tuned for an Ambulance! Nee Naw LeeBee P.S Lottery win? you should of said when you were down this way!, I don't work there anymore!! (I wish)

Lee, I was wondering where everyone had gone. It seems the main list has got quieter and quieter than ever of late. The only ECU's that I can get don't match my numbers exactly. Having just left this place I phoned Tower View to say that I couldn't get one and was greeted with the better news that the car is now misbehaving and demonstrating the same issues with his test ECU on it. So back to square minus 1 1/2 ! How's the new job any way ? Got my filter ?
