Hi Hans,
A google search came up with this from 2009:

...from my hunting for a replacement ( gearbox mount ),
original Ford Finis ; 6145436 ; obsolete
Motorcraft ; 1454275 or 72HF 6068 AA ; obsolete : the relevant part of the 72HF 6068 AA number is the 6068 part which needs to be correct. Also stamped on mount was Getefo12

Quinton Hazell ; EM1536 ; £14.99 (Equivalent 6068) cost from local supplier
Quinton Hazell ; EM1536 ; £9.99 ; £12.49 including P&P; see southwalesprops.co.uk for quinton hazell pictures.

gear box being Ford type 9 or N, bell housing has an E cast in the side

Bil

Hope this is useful to you. The mounts were for Type 9 or N gearboxes as fitted to Capri and Sierra models.
I believe Rally Design used to sell the originals as well as competition mounts.
Regards,
Glen

Hi Hans, this would be useful if yours wasn't a V8S banghead
It's hard to tell without some measurements but they look very similar to wishbone bushes? What size bolt goes through them?

Could be, they're both 1/2" ID.

They're probably "what we had loads of knocking about", so whatever wishbone bushes are used on a wedge maybe?

I decided I couldn't be arsed to work it out when I did mine and made some from polyurethane bar.

Hallo

Thanks for the info.
The big ones ( not the one with the arrow) are the Tiebar bushes from a 400se.I think for all their parts TVR just dig in the bin what was available. So I think the other one must be from a model of that era.
The one with the Arrow is the same size ( outer diameter) as the front wishbone but a bit short.
So if anyone has a direct replacement. That would be great.

Regards
hans.

Front wishbone bushes are Triumph TR6 front lower wishbone inner bush, available on ebay for a few pounds each, if that's any help.

Carl.

If you've got dimensions for them it shouldn't be too hard to work out what they're from smile

I didn't replace mine but thought they looked very similar to front wishbone bushes.

Sorry to dig up an old post, but did anyone ever get part numbers (or source) for the two smaller bushes and the larger single bush in Hans' pic with the arrow pointing to the assembly.

The only PNs in the thread replies are all for the ford gearbox.

Currently trying to get back on the road for summer,

Z
