Ah, the advert appeared on Yahoo and I see it has their prefix (hate yahoo!!!). My mistake.

Hello folks
I've currently got a set of these.. Well one for each wheel so 2 sets.
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/25mm-4x108-63-4CB-Hubcen...
+25mm so should put outside edge of tyre where it is on the v8. (I know it's not the same..)
No handling issues so far but getting the feel gradually, looks great.
Cheers

looks as if it was intended to be that way.
Maybe not, please read more about wheel envelopes.https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Envelope_%28motion%2...
Hi Han, I know where you are coming from, from an engineering design point of view. That is why I think I have a reputation for being cautious on such things.
I dont think TVR gave much thought to design niceties like wheel 'envelopes', judging by the clearance issues at the front of an S1 (made slightly better by the spacers). They developed as they went along, and well before computer aided design.
The rear of my Grantura certainly didnt have designed wheel envelopes, 'jump' the car and the inside of the rear wheel arches acted as a very sudden brake on landing!!
I have checked the clearance on my S and I am satisfied, as an engineer, that it is within the envelope. I have also 'jumped' it ( a heart stopping accidental moment!) and all was well , with the car anyway.

I measured the differences between the track on a V8S and the track on the S1, and bought 15mm and 20mm spacers for the S1. I also had to use extended studs from Burtons. Can't remember which, but I think the 20mm are on the front, and the 15mm on the rear, but it could be the other way around. No issues so far.
Having sent my spare set of OZ wheels away for diamond turning, collecting them on Monday, I am considering 20mm spacers to give the same stance as the S4 and V8S. It has been an interesting journey with these wheels, bought on eBay with tyres which were twelve years o!d! The wheels had been polished and I thought that I could improve the finish with my own buffing wheels. Sciatica has intervened and also the goons who removed the tyres as a 'favour' put some deep scratches in the rims. So I decided to have a professional refurbishment. I will let you know how bad or not the turning marks are when I collect the rims on Monday. One bonus of diamond turning is that they see if the rims are out of true. One of mine needed sorting and I do not think that this is unusual on these OZ Route alloys. I am not going to have the wheels lacquered but will use Chemical Guys wheel polish to protect and I have the buffing wheels if necessary.
So back to my question, which is a lazy request really as I could jack up the car and look myself but sciatica intervenes and I am tempted to do a late Saturday (after a bottle of wine) purchase. Do I have to pull the hubs to fit the longer wheel studs? I have removed one of the rears before when I had the trailing arm rebuilt and I should replace the shoes before Euro Tour, although GTS members only use the brakes when a sudden comfort break is required. I am not particularly the worried about bearing loadings and would use hubcentric spacers with the requisite extended length studs.
Advice, and ribald comments, welcome.
P.S. Those ancient tyres were scrapped. I may have my other set of OZ wheels available but I am going to see if they are true before offering them for sale.

Mike. Thank you for the advice. I am thinking of buying hub buddies spacers from EBay which are supplied with longer studs:
http://m.ebay.co.uk/itm/Hub-Centric-4-x-108-63-4-H...
They seem much cheaper than other makes. The type with extra studs and nuts which do not need to have the original studs replaced would be easier but I would worry about the difficulty of of cheching the nut torque regularly.
The company sorting out the wheels are:

I will post some pics when I get them back .
