I did'nt go that far. After the price of the manifolds I could'nt stomach 3 quid a bolt!

This topic will be very usefull when I get round to changing the manifolds, some great advice. Cheers gents & Titanium m8's eek

The cost for ss manifolds with downpipes & manifold gaskets is decent, its the darn VAT added on to them is what bumps the price up

You can save yourself a few quid by getting the gaskets from gaskets for classics, they are on fleabay.

I can't remember without actually looking at my manifolds but do I need 4 or 6 gaskets? (For the S1 2.8)

Yes up and running then went and sold it . I've still got the chimaera if you know some one who wants a cheap project to fund my next rebuld

Blimey shifted that quick Shaun, I remember you calling me up about the chimaera, would of had it myself/still would but I haven't got the funds yet.. completely rebuilt an S an Chimaera, bank took a right hit! laugh

Not a lot though.

For instance, I have no idea how to say "My swimming pool is full of eels" in Spanish.
