I need to start cleaning up my engine bay on my tuscan, i have fitted silicone hoses but i need the cam cover painting. Who did yours and was it a exchange job , or did you get your own cover done. Cheers

Just take it to a powder coater and pick your colour. The cam cover is easy enough to remove. I think my powder coat was £45 the spark plug cover was £30 with the speed six logo polished. This was about 4 years ago though.

Agree. Around £90 for it painted or powdercoated. Personally I prefer the colour to match that of the car. I thought the original red cover looked a bit strange. I've also got the TVR Ecosse sticker on the cover too in colours to match the speed six logo.

Here's a good example of a polished cover too:

I did mine in the same colour as the car then did black crinkle finish on the plug cover and fuel rail. I then milled over the letters and ribs to get the bare Ali contrast.
I do like the polished one above. Knowing what a mess the standard casting is someone has put a lot of time and effort in to that!

Is it possible to purchase the TVR badge for the cam cover?

This is one of the first jobs I did on my Tuscan - a bit daunting at first if like me you're a novice with the spanners (spoiler alert: no actual spanners are needed), but it's actually pretty straightforward. I took a few photos of the cover during removal/refitting, you can find them about halfway down the second page on this thread:

Get a gasket Simon, to put it back together with. Then if you ever want to take it off again you don’t have to pish around splitting the rtv.
