If converting to rear disc brakes, you will also need some specially made up handbrake cables.
Racetech used to list the V8S cable, which is all you need. Seems to have disappeared from their website though?

Thank You, but I've got small cable manufacture next door (2miles). Cheap, great quality and magic - from Fiat 125p to Ferrari Mondial wink

Let us know how much. They're £55 over here for a bespoke one. If you can get them for an acceptable quality there could be a group buy coming your way.

They had two left when I bought one. I then directed a couple of people to them who were after one. Having spoken to them about it getting another batch made up was not something they were willing to do. It took stupidly long for the stock to go.

I've got a supplier for S1/2/3 drum cable handbrakes, but they're not cheap so I wasn't willing to place a large order. Wouldn't be hard to get them to make some disc versions up too, but I can sympathise with Racetech on that front.

OK. My cable&linkage master got an answer. He can make drum or disk hand break cable for c.a. 40Ł

£25 inc. delivery to a UK address?

Got any friends in Redditch (near Birmingham)?

Guess it's immaterial now but can't see any type of "threadlock" would cause that damage? Could it have been damaged previously and sh#t loads of threadlock applied in some kind of bodge attempt at a repair?

If it's the opposite one to that I sent to Marceli you could be in luck.

Left or right hand thread?

I'm afraid its exactly the same part Marceli was looking for.

Left hand threaded.

The model on this picture.

Hi.
I’m desperately looking for a pair of these stub axles to use in drum brake hubs with lobro driveshafts. Has anybody got a link to someone who’s selling them???

Something looks a bit different, not quite right to me?

Are those "one shot" sealed/non serviceable units?
