I managed to do a very neat repair on the o/s one. It's amazing what you can do with fibre glass resin and a bit of patience. Spot the join?

Thanks for the tip on using wet & dry.

Spot on!

On a different note. I had filled up with super unleaded in Belgium, twice actually.
On returning to Dover i filled up with Bp 95, within 30 miles the misfire had disappeared! took her out today and she's running like a dream.

I called Jason to discuss this and he says that he has had a few people complain of the same issues, it appears that some European Super has a higher content of ethanol and the old girl didn't like it.

Good luck with the search, i'll keep my eyes peeled.

Mine loves the high stuff! 98 or higher if available. Got some 99 last year in Germany and it ran like a dream. If my engine was doing that I check the timing and advance it a tad.

Maybe Jason set yours up to run on paraffin laugh

That's good news Darren. Like Joe, I only use 98 octane.
