Due to distance, if I were to travel in comfort with the old girl in the trailer, does anyone know if there is on site parking for cars and trailers?
Most of us have just done over 1000 miles around northern Europe in our 'S's and no aches or pains reported from anyone. You don't live that far from Uxbridge do you? laugh Go on give it a thrash, it's what it's for. There will be a hotel nearby if you don't fancy camping.
Percy & I have covered 1672 miles in the last couple of weeks driving
I have no aches or pains to report at all. cloud9

However, I did try calling the tinnitus helpline, but it just keeps ringing! earsbiggrin

( Shamelessly stolen from the Sean Connery Joke Thread )

Not quite getting the point of dragging it on a trailer all the way to Uxbridge and back just to drive it a few yards from the trailer park to the S Club display area?

Somehow just doesn't embrace the "spirit" of the event or indeed S ownership?

With Simon, Joe, Darren and quite possibly others coming along the "display" is not going to be short of tidy V8S's!

I'm with you on that shout

Just sort an interesting route and go

Although I can't get to this do I am driving my S1 from Teesside to the Goodwood Festival of Speed (fully laden with tent etc) chosen a route with less than 20 miles of dual carriage way.

Sorry, don't understand the issue here. It's a no-brainer isn't it? otherwise what's the point in having a TVR? laugh

So you're going to drag your car three or four hundred miles to stick it in a field for a few hours so a few brain dead oiks can make informed comments like

"what is it?"

"How fast does it go"

"My mate had one, a TR7"

and of course "It's a TVR, they always break down" (which won't be helped by it leaving on a trailer wink )

That's commitment smile

No, haven't used it much really since spa. May give it to my son to use for a bit to get some miles on it - that said he has a classic car and that did 0 miles last year so even he cant be bothered hehe

As for selling jeep as I call it, nah.....think it pips the wagon in the comfort stakes smash

We need some meets in the NW, especially as Blackpool was the birthplace.
