Is this sump any good?

Hi, my friend has a weeping sump where the ARB has contacted in the past.

Is this ally sump a suitable replacement?

I cant get under the car to check at the mo, but from memory its pressed steel.

Thoughts really appreciated.

Yes it will fit, original is steel that is from a 24v cossie. Looks like the oil way returns on the sides have already been blanked off.
Sump off is an engine out jobbie unless you cut the crossmember out. Few of us have now done that, search old posts for examples and pictures. Then of course you/he will need to sort out engine mountings to give it some clearance.

Thanks Philpot, shame about the engine out..... Short term may just be some more JB weld....
