Yes but which car will I be driving.....VERY touch and go....

Good news though is 'plan B' passed it's MOT today after a couple of new track rod ends. Apparently my enthusiastic cornering approach seems to wear track rods for some reason....?!

So will it be plan A?

Or plan B? Green BGT not mine - very nice though!

See you in 3 weeks!

Don't know if you're wanting to publicise your itinerary or not but I'm over on East coast. Was thinking I'd try to get a view of you all driving along at some point. I'm sure it would be a sight (and sound) to behold. (My kids are back to school next week so kind of limits me a bit though).

No no, your car is perfect for Goodwood. No more tweaks needed ;-)

You should see the state Wendy is in biggrin

At the moment, I'll be driving my Touran.

Jobs to do;

1. Repair battery tray.
2. Fit driver's side manifold.
3. Finish loom repairs - starter feed and switch; side lights; front indicators; and side repeaters.
4. Fill, flush and refill cooling system.
5. Fit modified panels.
6. Modify bonnet to clear wiper.
7. Minor wiring repairs inside inc adding USB and 12v sockets.
8. Renew handbrake cable.
9. Renew rear calipers and bleed brakes.
10. Adjust headlamps.
11. MOT.

How many days?

On family holiday in Lake District at the moment. Sat on top of High Stile for lunch today, above Borrowdale. In the distance we could see the Solway Firth and the other side of that was... Scotland!! Strangely I was the only one who felt a tingle of excitement... smile

Now I know this might be a stupid question but....what day to we come home?

My invoice says "4 night tour, 2nd to 6th September" (That's excluding Penrith on the night of the 1st). So four nights would be 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th and so returning home on Wednesday 6th.

That's right, isn't it?

For the last trip we set up a what's app for information on the trip and it proved very useful. If you know what it is and want to be added to the group please email Longers your number so he can add it as we have started a group for this trip. Maybe put wassup as a subject to make it easier. If you don't know what it is maybe google it .....

Don't worry not trying to sell you anything before or afterwards but the choice is yours.

Cheers Greg
