Regrettably the loss of compression on the 'sheep in wolf's clothing' has led to a full rebuild and the V8 exterior will not be fooling anyone on the Scotland trip. Bits everywhere at the moment! The oldest car in Holland will not now be the oldest in Scotland.

I am however delighted that Glen has spoken nicely to 'Percy' who has kindly agreed to accept me sitting in as 'navigator' for the trip. Thank you Glen and 'Percy'.

Luckily I managed to find this at Tatton Park yesterday on one of the auto jumble stands:



Percy is booked in at Ivor's garage for a check over on Wednesday, as the weather is being a bit uncooperative for this old git to be thrutching about outside under cars, so I thought I'd contract the work out to the fastest grandad in the northwest. ( He races a Tuscan in the DTEC race series. )

I hope Longers has ordered some lovely Scottish sunshine for the Tour!

( Just to help dry out the GTS seats! )

I know exactly what you mean Glen about working outside. I seem to be putting off disconnecting the exhaust and propshaft and waiting for a sunny day, the old back isnt what it was!

And mine is currently being checked over by Jules at Kits & Classics - early indications are an improved bhp & lb/ft thanks to a little remap on the standard ecu.

I just managed to get my phone onto mute so the rest of the people in the conf call did not hear the guffawing.
