S1-2 two piece dash conversion.
Discussion
Hi all
As all you people out there in S land seem to be a very intelligent/talented lot, I thought I would pose a little question for your comments.
Only a thought but I was wondering if anyone has considered/carried out a modification to the dash/console to make it a two piece unit?
Would the effort of doing so be worth the benefits of being able to remove the halves separately?
Just a little thought exercise as I say.
As an aside, should the S come with a health warning? I seem to have formed an addiction, whenever there is a hint of sunshine (don't do driving with roof) I have an overwhelming urge to get the car out to go for a drive (must get a life?).

Thanks for the photos chaps, that's definitely given me food for thought....
Was thinking if the join was at the radio housing then it could still look pretty much original.
And yes V8s4me, it is life, but not as most people know it. (the poor fools have no idea what they are missing). Just worried the "Joy of S" is becoming an obsession!
