There are now just 12 reserved TVR camping pitches remaining at Bobby Shafto's, Beamish.
Their website says they are fully booked for that weekend, but if you contact them direct by phone on
0191 370 1776
and tell them you want to book a pitch on their "Events Field" with the TVRCC Group, a deposit will reserve you a pitch.
I have arranged a discount from their usual rates.
Don't leave it too late!

Others who have expressed interest but have yet to commit are:
ChiefyO

Fergus3060 + Dad & his mates with classic cars
Stu-nph26
Kitchski ( come on, Richard, you know you want to! wink

Dis gonna be good!

Please make sure you are on this list and you have supplied with your car details: Year, Model, & Reg. No.
Plus if you are only attending the Bywell show, I will need your address to post out your entry pass: PM me your details
Beamish discounted e-tickets ( valid for the one day only ) are available by contacting Alison at the TVRCC Office. These will be needed to obtain your entry ticket from me in the Museum car park Tier 7 where we will be lining up our TVRs.

It'll be good to meet you again with that beautiful S2 of yours. I don't think I've seen it since you were showing it on the TVRCC stand at the NEC Classic a while ago. bow

Still plenty of camping places at Bobby Shafto's near Beamish. Ring and ask for the 'rally' field for TVRs. DO NOT USE THE ON-LINE BOOKING AS IT DOES NOT INCLUDE THE RALLY FIELD

Sorry to hear that Simon, but family must come first. Hope it's nothing to serious.

Take care, Stew and Karen.

Car back on road, MOT yesterday. Phew!! Got to run it in yet but will now be joining you camping for the three days. If not run in I may proceed on part of the route in a more leisurely fashion.

Hi All,

I’m pretty new here, I picked my first TVR up on Wednesday (v6 s3), I’ve been told that S Club Heaven is a good event but don’t know much more than that... Can anyone give me a brief overview of the itinerary and what to expect?

Apologies if this has already been mentioned but couldn’t see it.

Cheers,
Tom

This is going to be a good gathering of S enthusiasts, the best for some time, be good to have you with us Tom. I dont know the campsite but it has been visited and is apparently very good indeed for our purposes with good facilities. Some good roads in the area too and a couple of our experienced members have been exploring ready! There is a classic car show going on nearby and a visit to Beamish, one of the top vintage tourist attractions in the country. No doubt the key men, Glenrobbo and Magpies, will add more details. Hope to see you there!

Hi Tom,

Welcome to TVR S ownership, you are obviously a person of impeccable taste. smile

If you read through this thread from the beginning, most of the information you need is there for all to see, follow the links for further info.

If you wish to join us for the full programme, I believe there are still a few camping plots available at Bobby Shafto but only if you apply by telephone and quote reference TVR.
Other accomodation may be available locally if you check the various booking websites.

Our TVR scenic run on friday 29th June will start at 10 am PROMPT from the Beamish MuseuMuseum Tier 7 East car park, we'll be meeting there from 9am

Unfortunately the deadline for discounted admission to Beamish Museum as part of our group visit has now passed, but you could still join us there on Saturday 30th June and buy a ticket at the Museum entrance ticket office.

Likewise the free entry pass deadline for the Bywell Show has passed, but if you wish to be included, email me your details ( Name, car year, model and Reg. No. , Full or part programme ) by PM* asap and I'll see what I can do.
We have 65 TVRs registered to attend, but we have a limited number of spaces left on our display plot.

* Just click on my name in the margin to bring up my profile page, then click on "email me".

Note: If joining us for the friday run, there is a separate thread here on PH ( This S Series forum or "TVR Events and Meetings"? ) to book your own lunch at the William de Percy, Otterburn. They require a deposit. Please read and follow the instructions on Mick Magpies' thread.

Hope to see you soon.

You haven't revealed in which area you reside, but hopefully you have or intend to join your local TVRCC Region to keep you informed of future events, developments and enjoy the other benefits of membership.

Best wishes,

Glen

Thanks Greymrj/Glen,

Joining the tvrcc this weekend, I’m from Bolton so any north west meets would be good.

Quite fancy the full program to get to know everyone. Another stupid question but is it a couples event or do all the guys go up on their own?

Cheers,
Tom

There will be a mixture Tom. If you look at the list you will see some couples (not always easy as they have used their PH names!). It would be good to have more partners along. Incidentally, I see you are in Bolton. I'm just on the Bolton side of Preston (Hoghton). May be useful. Hope to see you at Hexham.

scratchchin Methinks the Gentleman doth protest too much! biggrin

Or perhaps Joe is waiting until just after Phillpot's G.T.S. initiation ceremony, when his resistance will be at its' lowest? He is almost ready: Griff.... Taimar.... S. smile

But don't worry. What happens at S Club stays at S Club. wink
