Of course there's no need to book accomodation if you live locally.

It's just if you're travelling a long way and need somewhere to stay, because accomodation in the area is hard to find if you leave it too late.

My mate Stuart and his wife Cath are joining my wife and myself and also staying at the Rose & Crown, Slaley, Hexham Thursday thru Sunday. Unfortunately however he will be driving a 1972 Porsche 911 Targa - no everyone can have a TVR !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Stuart will be my co-driver for the Classic Monaco Grand Prix in May so anyone going there will be able meet him then.
