Fuel Pressure Regulator
Discussion
Hello all
Does anyone know where fuel pressure regulators are available from ? All I can google up is adjustable fuel pressure regulators like this… (and I'm not 100% sure this is the right one either)
http://www.burtonpower.com/power-boost-valve-ford-...
I was trying to find a standard one, but cannot find a part number on it, but it is a bosch one, and it fits onto a pressed steel fuel rail even though the car is an S3C and I hoped it would have the swanky ali one
If the original FPRs are now extinct has anyone used one these adjustable things, and do they do the job ?
Thanks and happy new year
Marc

I checked the regulator ID on Fordopedia
and bought one of these. Only took a few days to arrive.
It works a treat, though I'm not convinced there was anything wrong with the old one!

From the spares box..............
Part No. 0 280 160 268
This could be it, très cheap.............. ford regulator would just need a little adaptor on the threaded connection to a hose barb?
0 280 160 249 seem more abundant, but not so cheap.... clicky, wonder what the difference is?
From this picture.... clicky it would appear it is also 3.0 bar which is correct for the Ford Cologne/TVR engine?
Or just buy the one Mentall has linked to

The cheap one is from China and sold by a Chinese company. The expensive one is probably also from China, but sold by a German company. Thanks all, lets hope it helps
