Do they have flat rails? If they do then the seats might fit. But check the width across the rails and across the tops of the seats and the back. Also be aware that if these seats have a deep back they might hit the seat belt spool when pushed fully back. The high and wide shoulders might make grabbing the seat belt awkward. The only real way to know for sure is to drop one in and see how it fits.

Nice seats though so I hope you can make them work.

If they're anywhere near you, you could take the passenger seat out and drive over to the seller and try one out. It's really the only way to know for sure.

Yep, so many seats look as if they might fit but space is quite tight in an S.

lots or measuring or, as Peter suggested, trial fit ideally smile

Thank you for input. They are not really near so I will ask them to do some measurements next week. They are from a pretty new car so they should be in good shape.

Further input much appreciated.

Kind regards

I have an ST with those seats. If you tell me the info you want I will see what I can do as long as you don’t expect me to remove them wink

Do these seats have a provenance ?

Fiesta ST is rather hot in the stolen car lists currently.

On a side note.. you would want to consider how to remove the airbags & pre-tensioners.

Excellent, thank you for all input.

black_potato, thank you for offering to measure.

First of all maybe a blunt question by are they as comfortable as they look in the picture? Would you, having driven in them, recommend installing them in a TVR? They sure look nice.

Are yours fully manual?

As for measures I would need the overall hight from floor to top of the seat in an up-right position. If close to 100cm please take a look if there seem to be a way of lowering the base. I think I can get away with about 96-97cm height from floor to the targa bow. And with the backrest leaning backwards it will be slightly lower.

I also would need the width of the cushion front, rear and the widest point which seem to be in the middle. These cars are very narrow and also would appreciate measures of the width of the backrest bottom, mid and top.

Is it possible to remove the airbags in the garage at home? Would the seatshave to have to come all apart?

How does the belt tensioner work? Can it be removed? I have a 4 Point harness in my car so I don't need that.

Kind regards and thank you

On the seat belts I wouldn't use the ones on the seats. Keep the original stalks, which are mounted to the firm chassis rails. The seats are just bolted down through the fibreglass floor.

I'd be amazed if they physically fitted, personally.

not looking good im afraid...

Height / well over 1000mm

base width, the widest part of the back is also 500mm

I took more but I expect this is enough to look for something else.

Wow. Thank you.

I had no idea that they were that high. Width is probably workable but height kind of killed that idea....

I can’t see how they kan be lowered to go under 970mm.

Too bad they looked real nice. And would have been perfect in my red with grey interior S3

The search continues....

Thank you for your kind assistance.

Kind regards

The Recaros are comfortable but chunky, unlikely to fit in any TVR. These are the ones in my STZ230 in Singapore

Hi

Maffe, thank you for the offer on the Chim seats, I have to think about that one.

In the meantime I found these, they are from a BMW 1 series M. They are low only 950mm so they should fit. Any thoughts or experience if they are nice and comfy?

These are from a rather new 1 M convertible and full leather I think. Decent price also.

All input appreciated

Kind regards

How bad are your S seats? You seem very determined to find an alternative!

Not terribly common but try Suzuki Cappuccino
