Hi All,

I’ve sprung a leak on my S2 frown

It’s the hose that comes out of the bottom passenger side of the radiator. Can’t seem to find where I can buy just that hose as it needs to be a certain bend too.

Any ideas please?

Thanks

Must be hose week.

I recently changed my original hoses for silicone, so probably still have the original floating about the garage. No particular bend from memory, certainly the silicone one is just a straight piece which naturally bends slightly to fit. I'll have a look tomorrow.

I bought an Auto Silicone Hoses hose to go here. Link >>> A S H

OD = 45mm, ID = 35mm, L = 160-180mm, Elbow Angle = 45°
Can't beat a bit 'o' bling instead of old rubber !

It's only a simple 45 / 135 degree bend. ASH as linked above have plenty. Local motorfactors would likely have a rubber version.

?? You mean drive it ?? On the road, in the rain yikes

Body goes back on as soon as the weather is a bit warmer. Then, planning to register the car as an an "old-timer", when she hits the "Dirty Gertie" at the end of 2019. So, still some time to enjoy the optics smile
