I feel your pain.
I had been trying to sell my Chimaera 500 and dropped the price by almost £2000 to generate some interest in it. I had several people asking for information, a couple of visits and test drives, but no sale.
The market for private sales seems to be very stagnant across the board. Whilst trying to sell mine, I have enquired about several cars for sale privately, including Porsche Boxster, Porsche 911, VX220 and everyone says the same thing - the car has been for sale for ages with little interest. What is also annoying is the number of dealers who simply did not bother replying to messages. The only dealership car I asked about, and got a reply, sold within 24 hours and was snapped up by another buyer who paid full payment over the phone without seeing the car, while I was arranging to go and see it the same day. What is interesting, to me at least, is that when I was buying my Chimaera 3 years ago I genuinely struggled to buy one as they were selling so quickly.
After almost 6 weeks I have given up, and will now use, abuse and drive the Chimaera into the ground without investing too much more money into it other than basic repairs and servicing. It is clearly less desirable and less valuable than I thought, and I am not prepared to sell it for any less. I plan to use it as my daily driver now over the summer.

I've dropped mine by quite a bit too, I didn't really know how to price it so I just used the others for sale as a guide. It's now the cheapest on eBay but the price doesn't in any way reflect the condition of the car. If I could just get someone to view I sure they would buy it.
I don't need to sell it, but I have now made the mistake of finding the vehicle I want next and Ive I've got my heart set on it now.

Sorry to hear it is proving so difficult, some of the cars for sale do seem to have been around for ages though so I guess the market is not as strong as imagined.
I've looked at their site and whilst they might be perfectly good I am always dubious of websites that have a single freephone number and zero contact details bar a generic email address. No company info, VAT numbers etc etc. If you look at sellmyferrari.co.uk for example at least there is decent company info published so you know where to contact them or look them up on companies house if so inclined for example.

I'm currently trying to sell my TVR but not really having much luck. I don't seen to be getting much interest, so looking on google I've just come across this site and was just wondering if anyone had used them before. Thanks all.
I know nothing.Have you tried WBAC?

I think some are for sale at unrealistic prices. They vary wildly in condition but some dealers are asking £13k plus for 4.0 litre ones on original chassis, original engine and interiors and sketchy histories.
Value have gone up a bit (I paid £7k for a Chimaera with 80k miles on it in 2013), but I think too far in some expectatons. A 1995 4.0 went at ACA last Saturday for £9k plus commission. It was OK, front wishbones and suspension needed work but serp engine and pas:

Interestingly, there was a gaggle of people around it as it went through. 12 months ago, barely anyone was interested, and similar cars were fetching under £8k 12 months ago. So the 'visibility' may be higher?:

Unfortunately, many buyers will still go to a dealer thinking they are getting a good deal with a warranty. Unless you have had a TVR before or are very knowledgeable about the marque, you are unlikely to pony up over £10k on a private sale. I did, but it's my 3rd Chimaera.

I don’t think 6 weeks is that long to be be honest, it took me nearly a year to sell a cobra replica I had!I had been trying to sell my Chimaera 500 and dropped the price by almost £2000 to generate some interest in it. I had several people asking for information, a couple of visits and test drives, but no sale.

Most people are still st scared of buying a Tvr privately, the market prices are all over the place too.
It’s typical but I was looking at trading up to a 500 a year ago and there was nothing about for £15k, what did come up sold straight away.
Yours looks a well sorted car.
Its a very well sorted car and should make someone very happy.
There are a lot around for sale and with prices low due to the number made and the number for sale may well see people less inclined to maintain them properly you see that in other low priced high performance cars.
However the market for the very late TVRs and Griffiths are very strong and the early cars are also seeing strength in prices for the best cars especially.
