Just for amusement, it is TVR but not S, have a look at a really BAD advert example! From title to description one of the worst I have ever seen. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/283587685455?ul_noapp=t...

Check the feedback page. " pasta_4430 has been an eBay member since 07 Aug, 2019".

Almost certainly a scam. Or "Pasta" is a complete idiot.

why buying the red 280 with several damages when a nicer looking car with no damages and bigger engine is advertized for 500pound more (and the advert looks promising that price good be negotiated)

There's this one on PH classifieds

https://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/...

Not sure about the carbon fibre trim and fancy seats though.

No mention of chassis work on this one either. Have any of these sold? If not then maybe the going rate is lower than the owners think. The prices of other TVR's have weakened, why would 'S's be different?

S3 project, this car used to belong to Smokeyboyer formerly of this parish and used to be immaculate. Shame to see it like that especially as it is the sister car to mine (703 and 704).

Hope somebody saves it.

Seems a lot for a "project" which, when finished, will leave you with a devalued Cat D car.

I strongly suspect that the weak pound is driving up values at the moment. Having said that, over the last 8 years, the last four classics I've sold on went to Paris, Venice, Dublin and Portugal.

It seems folk in the UK prefer gadget laden modern boxes rather than stonking fun British Beef. Very sad.

I wouldn’t mind if that was the going rate for an S1, maybe a little optimistic!

Bloody hell, I remember that car when it was new. It was a real Friday afternoon car, Kevin had loads of problems with it and big battles with Haughins but then bought an S3 and it was chalk and cheese how much better the later car was. So glad to see it is still around, presumably it has been sorted now.

Oliver.
