Needs the full monty by the look of that outrigger and the tank cradle. I do like them in green, very partial to a green car me.

Not sure but don't you have to pay an initial registration tax on Jersey cars as they were UK tax exempt when purchased over there?

Even so £12K seems very reasonable for a good condition V8S.

Would there be any tax to pay if it was imported to the UK?

I think you have to pay VAT on certain cars but maybe this is too old - there will be a Gov.uk Web site about it somewhere!

There may not be any salt on the roads in Jersey but there's plenty in the air laugh

galvanized chassis??? painted in black, in combination with a rough surface where you think "there was rust underneath b4 painting", plus all those strange enginebay pics showing un-important details?

maybe the seller is considering the stainless-exhaust manifold as "galvanized" chassis tubes??

The best colour biggrin Nice shut-lines but what's the chassis like? No mention and no photos. I wonder how a car with even a slight tear in the rear screen can be "watertight"? Why do people bother putting up out of focus photos?

Indeed. Chassis rust gets a mention from 2007 onward as an advisory. Of course, that doesn't mean it hasn't been sorted, but how and when is an interesting question.

I have always liked gunmetal as a car colour. I had a meteor grey Citroen BX16v, much admired when touring France in the 90's, largely despised in the UK of course.

Looks like it’s been well looked after, even the indicators don’t look broken. Doesn’t look like the chassis been done from the glimpse of it you can see in the engine photo, but that’s not to say the outriggers haven’t been done if indeed they need doing. It’s got the S1 doors and 2.9 engine, so it’s a S1.5 isn’t it.
